I have been an Orange County, CA Loan Officer since 1989, specializing in working with First Time Buyers and Move Up buyers. FHA loans and VA loans have been a cornerstone of my business, along with the standard Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac programs. Home Point Financial has always been a company focused on working with homebuyers, and it continues to be. All processing, underwriting and funding takes place in our Orange County office located in Newport Beach, CA.

I am a licensed Broker with the CA Dept of Real Estate (license # 01086852) but close all of my loans directly through Home Point Financial. I am a Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist (CMPS) and a Certified Mortgage Planner. I received a BA in from the University of San Diego in 1988 with a Finance emphasis.

The flexibility offered in credit qualifying, and low down, or no down payment, make these programs very attractive to Orange County First Time Buyers. VA is also a great program for those who are eligible and requires no down payment up to the county limit. The Zero down financing loan limit in Orange County and Los Angeles County for 2018 is $679,650. The VA loan does not have monthly Mortgage Insurance, which can result in a lower payment when compared to an FHA loan.
